The Scribbler’s Friend
You are just one of many,
You are dim and lifeless,
Sometimes you are bloody,
At times you are fearless.
Your hues might change,
But the darkest is my fave,
But once you die,
You got to be replaced.
I have no remorse,
Keeping you at bay
It’s an honor really,
To suck your life away!
For every drop you lose,
Words start to thrive,
For every piece of you,
My thoughts come alive!
You are my friend,
You are my saviour,
You are mightier
Than any other sword.
